Class Overview:
This class teaches beginning Rally Obedience, a performance sport in which dog and handler execute a series of connected, obedience exercises on a timed course. The sport emphasizes the development of a positive working relationship in a fun and interesting competitive environment. Initially, this course will teach the AKC Rally Novice signs and the obedience skills required to properly execute the exercises. The signs to be taught will be emailed to students along with a copy of weekly mini-courses. In the latter weeks of the 12 week session, WCRL Level 1 signs will be introduced. Performance and scoring guidelines for both venues will be taught.
