Class Overview
The sport of Canine Disc is a fast paced, enjoyable, and fun sport involving an incredible bond between you and your canine in which the sky is the limit. Any breed can come and participate in class and learn techniques used for throwing the disc properly, placing the disc safely for your canine partner, and beginning some basics of body work and confidence building to eventually create a freestyle routine. We will base this class on the Hyperflite/Skyhoundz scoring system but will educate the students in all formats of play and what discs are best used for you and the format you decide to play in. This class will prepare you for Novice Level competition, unless you are a repeat student. The instructor will work with you at your level on each skill to advance your competition level as you are ready. No handler is too novice!
NOTE: There will be one class each session where the instructor works with handlers only; no dogs. The instructor will inform you when that class will take place during the session.
