Classes – Winter 2018

Breakaway Action Dogs Winter Weather Policy .

In case of inclement weather, BAD will cancel all classes and activities scheduled for the day or evening, when Frederick County schools are let out early, closed for the entire day or evening activities have been cancelled. When Frederick County schools open late, you will be contacted by your instructor if class will be held.

Our classes are taught by volunteer instructors. We teach classes in agility, obedience, rally, flyball, tricks, nosework, conformation and disc dog, and we're always adding new classes. We promote the use of positive motivational training methods.

Winter Session starts the week of January 8, 2018

December 4 - General Registration Opens

December 22 - Registration Closes


All classes are 1 hour unless otherwise noted. Classes run weekly.

Classes run for 12 weeks.


$180 per dog per class for 12 week classes

BAD reserves the right to cancel classes when fewer than four students are enrolled.

All instructors at B.A.D. are volunteers

About B.A.D. Training

New to dog training?
It is important that you start at the beginning as a strong foundation is the key to any successful future with you and your dog.

Beginning Classes
New and experienced handlers need to start their dogs in : Puppy Obedience, Manners Obedience or Introduction to Agility

Previously trained?
If you and your dog team have previously trained elsewhere you will need to be evaluated before classes commence. This evaluation will help us place your dog in the class that will benefit you and your dog the best.

Enrollment Limits
B.A.D. classes are limited to a maximum of 6-8 students and a minimum of 4 students. Therefore it is important that the registration form be complete and payment is received in full BEFORE the first night of class.
